TOMORROW IS THURSDAY! That means that we are going to the playground! Please be sure to drop off carseats, and make sure that your child is dressed in comfortable clothes with SOCKS and SNEAKERS. Don't forget to apply sunscreen!
Friday is Field Trip Day! We are going to World of Wings (butterfly museum), and we will be gone for the ENTIRE DAY. It is super important for your child to be dropped off ON TIME! Please also remember to pack both a LUNCH and a SNACK (no nuts) for your child. Thank you!
I would like to introduce you to our volunteer teachers!
Joan has been a volunteer teacher for the Pre-K 4 class since I first started teaching Summer VBS in Palisades Church. This is her third year coming back as a volunteer teacher. She is currently 16 years old and will be a senior in Clarkstown South High School this coming fall. She is very artistic and has many aspirations and dreams. She wants to go into Art Therapy to help children/adults find themselves and overcome whatever obstacle they come across.
Stephanie is a graduate of Northern Valley Regional in Old Tappan and is currently attending Fordham University in New York City. She plans on majoring in computer science with a minor in Fashion. Stephanie enjoys reading and playing tennis. She has a strong passion for fashion (it rhymes!), so she's constantly surfing the internet and browsing through fashion blog to keep up with the latest trends.
Sannah will be a freshman at Northern Valley Old Tappan this coming fall. She is currently 14 years old, and she has an older sister that is also volunteering this summer at Palisades Summer VBS. She enjoys reading, watching movies, and baking. She has a particular interest in film and fashion. Sannah also plays 3 instruments: clarinet, piano, and guitar!
Eleanor lives in River Edge and will be attending the Academy of Holy Angels in the fall. She is 14 years old. Her hobbies are art, field hockey, spending time with friends and family, shopping, and praising God! This is her first time volunteering at our VBS program, and she's super excited to be here with us!
Erin will be helping us on Mondays and Wednesdays. Her information will be posted up soon!
Thanks for all your support and pictures from this week will be posted this weekend!
