INTRODUCTIONS
Miss Alice
Welcome! My name is Miss Alice (김민지) and I will be the lead teacher for the PRE-K (4) class this summer. I've been with this program for the past 2 summers, so I'm so delighted to come back again this year! I have just graduated from the Graduate School of Education at Rutgers University, and I'm dually certified in Elementary Education (K-6th) with a specialization in Early Childhood Education (Prek-3rd). I am passionate about becoming an effective, inspiring, and caring educator. I absolutely cannot wait until VBS starts and see everyone's bright and beautiful faces!
**I have sent out an email to all parents a few days ago. If you haven't had the chance to respond, please do so. If you haven't received an email from me at all, let me know ASAP (minjeek@rutgers.edu)
Miss Yeji
Hello, my name is Yeji Kim (김예지). I am eighteen years old and recently graduated from high school. I am the Teacher’s Assistant for this year's Summer School of Age 4. I have been a volunteer at the Palisades Church Summer Program ever since I was fourteen years old. I have always had a passion for children and their education. I have worked with Miss Alice in the past (summer 2012) and it is my pleasure to work with her again. In the fall of 2014, I will be attending Rutgers University at New Brunswick. I plan to major in Mathematics and minor in Spanish. I will then attend the Graduate School of Education at Rutgers University to become a certified teacher. My goal in life is to build schools and orphanages around the world for children in need. Starting at an early age, I was able to build my portfolio and experience. It is my pleasure to not only educate your children but also create a safe and fun environment for them. This year will be an amazing year, I have no doubt. I thank you all for being able to join us in this wonderful journey. Thank you and I hope to see you very soon!
