An Important Reminder...

Hello everyone! We have completed our second day of VBS!

I have very important reminders:
Wednesday is our swimming day!

Please make sure that you send a towel, sunscreen (if it wasn't already provided), a change of clothes with UNDERWEAR, and a swimming suit. We encourage you to send your child already dressed in their swim wear.

Thursday is our playground day!

We visit a local playground on Thursday mornings. Please make sure to dress your child in comfortable clothes and apply sunscreen on them. They can also bring a hat to help keep the sun out of their eyes and face. PLEASE DROP OFF BOOSTER SEATS UPON ARRIVAL ON THURSDAY MORNING!

Friday is our Field Trip day!

PLEASE HAVE YOUR CHILD DRESSED IN THE YELLOW VBS T-SHIRTS! We sent one home with each child on the first day of school. This helps us keep track of where our students are when we are on field trips. They are required to wear the yellow VBS shirts for every field trip! The students will NOT be provided lunch on Fridays because we are on a field trip, so be sure to send a packed lunch to school on fridays! PLEASE DROP OFF BOOSTER SEATS UPON ARRIVAL ON FRIDAY MORNING!

Thank you!

Today, we had two elective classes: Cooking with Mrs. Sunny and Story/Arts & Craft with Mrs. Miri.
Check out the pictures below to see what kind of learning we did today!
*There are some pictures mixed in here from yesterday.

Mr. Lucas and Miss Emily were are student teachers today! They helped us keep a straight line. They were awesome helpers:)

Matthew is enjoying his book:)

Caleb is showing us how to do "bubbles in your mouth". This is our cue to stay quiet.

All of our three girls are in the bouncy house! (left to right: Rachel, Emily, Mackenzie)

Cooking with Mrs. Sunny! Joshua looks super excited!

Colin is creating holes in his bread to put his strawberries in.

Edward is hard at work!

Taking a bite!

Look at all that jam!

Oliver looks like he's satisfied with his creation!

Tony and Ryan C. with their creations.

Mackenzie and Hudson are spreading strawberry jam onto their slices of bread.

Everyone is listening carefully to Mrs. Miri's story.

Mrs. Miri is a great story teller!

Making necklaces out of fruit loops and pretzels! Jae Yoon is so concentrated.

I'm loving everyone's colorful necklaces.

Almost done?

Writing their names on the tags.

They were really good about not eating the goodies during the activity!

We did a lot of learning today, and we were working like busy bees!
