Thank you Elisa, Ava, Elizabeth, Morgan, Sean, and Justin for joining us! It's great to finally meet all of you!
& Thank you Noah, Isaac, Jinu, Erin, Christy, and Eugene for being such great students and coming to class every day and being encouraging to the new classmates!
Firstly (and most importantly), I would like to say that we have SWIMMING TOMORROW (Friday July 6th). Please make sure you pack a swimming suit, change of clothes, towel, and sunblock for your child!
Secondly, I wanted to remind parents once again that we need at least one guardian to attend the parent teacher conference tomorrow also (July 6th). It would be very encouraging for the children to have their parents there and show off what they did in school. THIS WILL NOT BE A WEEKLY THING! It's just for the first week to evaluate the class and how the child is doing. If you have any additional questions, please don't hesitate to ask! After this week, we will be sending home progress reports and the work they did during class every Friday!
I also want to remind you that on MONDAY (JULY 9TH), our class will be taking a trip to the Old Tappan Public Library for Story time and Fun time. We ask you to drop off your car seat on the morning of. Details of that I will discuss at the parent teacher conference.
Lastly, I just wanted to finish off by showing you some of the pictures of the 2nd and the 3rd day of class (tuesday and thursday). I wish we could have a photographer just to take pictures throughout the whole day for our class because they do so much funny and cute things! Our staff is too busy to take pictures of every activity we do but we'll do our best to show you what we do in school!
OH! before I show you guys the pictures, I want to say that we have a very supportive and dedicated Pre-K staff!
Our TA (Teacher's Assistant) is our lovely Mrs. Esther! She is so great with the children because she is a mother of 2 and she always knows how to make everyone laugh with her silly voices! She is in charge of the Korean lessons and is a great story teller. She is fluent in Korean and can speak English very well, too! We consult each other about everything that has to do with the class so if you have any questions and I'm not available, do not hesitate to ask her!
Currently we have two wonderful volunteers that help us with our class! We were blessed to have Joann who has a warm and kind personality and is always ready to comfort anyone. I'm so glad to have her on our team because we really wouldn't be able to manage without her! Last but not least, we gained a second volunteer to our family today! His name is Josh and we're so glad that now the boys in our class will have a "형" to look up to! He's great with kids and has been a part of this VBS for a while now!
We hope as our class grows (we're expecting our full class to be ABOUT 17 children), we will gain more volunteers. We want to make sure everyone is taken care of and not left out.
OKAY! SO WITHOUT FURTHER ADO, I PRESENT TO YOU THE PICTURES!

Our second naptime!
Erin loves her purple flower sleeping bag!
No sleep for Morgan! But she was still really good and kept quiet so the other children could sleep!
We could never really tell when Jinu falls asleep. On this day, we thought he wasn't sleeping because he kept playing with his sticker on this chest (hence the hand) and his eyes were blinking and sometimes even opened! But we realized he was asleep the whole time! He started snoring and he had a great nap!
