"What's Up?" with Miss Yeji: July 30, 2014

Good evening! Today was a fun and exciting for the students and teachers: it was swim day! Let me show you in photos how our day looked like!

We always start our day with our morning meeting!

We greet each other with our "Good Morning" song!

Our student teachers of the day were Caleb and Hudson!

Our shape of the week is a "Diamond".

Our letters of the week are "S" and "F".

After our morning meeting, we take some time to dance!

We had Art with Miss Esther!

Hudson mentioned that we were wearing matching colors so we took a photo together!

Today, we made animal "crowns". All artwork will be available on the last day of summer school!

Tony!

Edward!

Ryan!

Hudson!

Matthew!

Hudson and his Batman pose!

We took a couple of class photos!

Express Yourselves!

Pre-K 4 preparing to go outside for our water-play!

I figured some of our parents would be curious to what our "pool" looked like!
We are grateful for the helpers that set up the pools for us every week!

Ryan, are you cold?

Our lovely Rachel and Miss Alice posing for a photo!

And that's a wrap!

I hope to have even more fun and take more pictures tomorrow!
We will be going to the outdoor playground, so please remember to have the students wear appropriate shoes!*
Today was an exciting yet tiring day for the kids, so please make sure they get lots of rest! I hope to see everyone tomorrow happy and smiling!

Thank you so much,
Miss Yeji.

*Please DO NOT have the students wear flip-flops! It is convenient but can be dangerous! Crocks and sandals are alright, anything that wraps behind the students' heels!

Once again, thank you and see you tomorrow!

"What's Up?" with Miss Yeji: July 29, 2014

Hello, this is Miss Yeji! This is my first blogpost for this blog and certainly not my last! I thought it would be fun to upload the photos that were taken that day, so here we go!

Rachel's Pea Plant

Edward's Pea Plant

Tony's Pea Plant

Miss Abigail reading our kids a book at the Old Tappan Library.

Time to make elephants!

First start off by coloring the ears, nose, and eyes!

Ryan and Caleb were having so much fun!

Group Shot!

Time to cut out the pieces!

And glue them on a plate!

Science with Miss Alice!
Don't our kids look cute with their safety goggles on?

Time for our Goodbye Worship!

We had to throw away the pea plants due to mold growing on them. But thankfully, we planted lima beans with Miss Alice during Science Class!

That is it for today's photo blogpost! Tomorrow, we will be going to the playground in Norwood so I hope to show you more photos! Thank you and I hope you have a wonderful evening!

God Bless,
Miss Yeji.
