Welcome to Pre-K (4)! : July 2013

Hello everyone!

Just wanted to make a quick update about the 5th week! (Pictures coming soon!)

We have 2 field trips: Tuesday to Stone Point Park and Friday to Stony Brook Swim Club. We need carseats/booster seats for these days!

Please also dress your child in their swimsuit before you drop him/her off at school on Friday. Pack a change of clothes, towel, and sunscreen for your child.

Also, this week, we will start to collect the $15 (per child) that will go towards the lunch that will be on the last day of summer VBS. Please be sure to send it in by this week!
The other fee ($5) is optional. Please refer to the notice form that we sent home last friday for more details.

I am still looking for parents that are interested in coming into our classroom to give a presentation about their occupation! Please contact me at 2018873699 to discuss this matter with me!

Lastly, I apologize that my updates have been very delayed! It's been very hectic throughout the past 2 weeks! Pictures will be uploaded sometime during the week!

Hello everyone! I'm finding it very hard to update the blog with pictures in the middle of the week, so you can expect to find pictures latest by Saturday of each week! Sorry about the delay, but I hope you still enjoy the photos!

I will still be uploading important information up on here during the week if needed.

During this past week, we had a couple of changes to our schedule.
1. Picture day was rescheduled to Monday July, 15.
2. Our fieldtrip to the zoo was postponed due to rain, and we went to World of Wings instead.
3. Swimming this past Friday was also cancelled due to weather conditions, so we watched a movie instead.

The students seemed to be coping with the adjustments as well, and we hope that everyone had a great time!

NEWS FOR WEEK 3!

This week's theme is Healthy Eating! Hopefully, we can encourage our students to foster healthy eating habits to help them grow big and strong.

OUR PICTURE DAY IS MONDAY! Please be sure to dress your child in the VBS shirt! Everyone should have it at home because every student wore it back home after our field trip to World of Wings!

We will be going to Bounce On It on Wednesday! Please be sure to dress your child in the VBS shirt on this day, too! Booster seats are also required this day!
