Just wanted to do a quick update about today (7/19).
I actually had to leave school early today (after circle time) because I was just feeling way too sick, so our TA, Mrs. Esther took over for the rest of the day. I was told the day went smoothly thanks to our many volunteers. I'm glad they all pulled through for our class.
I felt really sad for leaving our little cherubs and the rest of our Pre-K team on such short notice, but I didn't want to give anyone else what I have because it is just terrible to be in this condition: I have a fever that comes and goes, can't smell anything or breathe through my nose, and have a constant itch and pain in my throat. I actually may not be able to make it to school tomorrow or come in later during the day.
I can't stress enough how important it is to keep your child at home if he/she is sick. Before I got sick, there were already 5 students in our class that were sick. Today during circle time, I realized that more than half our class is already sick. I heard many coughs and sniffing.
Please, for the sake of your child and others, please please please keep your sick child at home.
For those who are sick, we pray that you get better soon!

IMPORTANT! PLEASE READ!
Hello! I hope everyone is doing well:)
We're at the midpoint of our 3rd week of VBS! Time really does fly when you're having fun, huh?
Anyway, I wanted to ask the parents and guardians of our Pre-K class not to send your child to school if he/she is sick. We already have 5 students that are sick in our class and 2 of our Pre-K staff members (Me and Ms. Joan). It's really difficult for us to do our job when we are sick and the students are sick. We want to be in the best condition possible to be able to provide for our students. Please pray for all of our health and fast recovery:)
Lastly, one of our students, Erin, lost a hair pin. It's a big light brown bow. If somehow it ended up in anyone else's backpack, please return it! It was a gift from a friend and she's been missing it :(

Reminders & Pictures:)
Hello everyone! Our Pre-K class has been PRETTY busy lately!
We just finished learning about the letter M and N today, and we also finished counting to 90! Tomorrow, we will finally be learning to count to 100!
Also, make sure your child is learning the bible memory verses! This past week, Jinu memorized the weekly bible memory verse and got 3 talent tickets for it! Way to go Jinu!
Just wanted to remind parents that we sent home permission slip forms for the field trips this Monday. I am expecting them back by THIS FRIDAY (7/20). If I don't have them by Thursday, I will be emailing parents to remind them. Some parents put the permission slip and the money for the trips in the folders, and that is fine, too! If you rather give it to me personally, please give it to me upon pick up or dismissal!
Also, we still have 2 towels from the Friday of the first week that are still unclaimed. If you think your child has not brought back a towel from that week, please let us know! We really want to return them to you!
I know I usually update with an overload of pictures, but I'm sorry to say that I don't have too many pictures to update you with today. Nevertheless, I hope you enjoy them!

Extra Photos and Reminders
Hello! Our 2nd week of VBS is almost done! I'm so happy that almost all of our class has joined us! Hopefully, the last member of our Pre-K class will join us soon, because we've already accomplished so much within these short 2 weeks!
Just a reminder that on Fridays we ask you to pack a bagged lunch for your child!
Our first field trip is on Wed July 25th! More information about that is coming your way soon!
Also, I see that we average about a good 40-50 views of our blog every day so I'm assuming all the parents are coming on to check for pictures and updates! (either that or there is one or two of the same people constantly coming on to check...haha, I hope it's the former!). It makes me so happy to know that there is a lot of interest on our blog! I will do my best to update the blog regularly! It's a great way to see your children in school and for us to reach out and communicate with you!
And now....the fun part! One of our volunteers (Joan) took extra pictures with her iPod throughout the course of the past 2 weeks, so I'm uploading some of the pictures that she gave me. The rest are from my camera from this Wednesday and Thursday.
